A place to play, connect, and belong.
Tri Palm Pickleball Club is more than just a place to play. It’s a community of residents who come together for the game, the energy, and the relationships built along the way. Whether you’re competitive or just picking up a paddle, there’s a place for you here.

Structured when you want it. Flexible when you don’t.
Club play takes place Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday mornings from 8am to noon, creating a consistent rhythm for members to connect and compete. Outside of those times, courts are available on a first-come basis, giving you the flexibility for open play on your schedule. Beginners, guests, and new members are always welcome during open play.

Pickleball at Tri Palm Estates began in 2015 when residents Karen Renfrew and Lin Buckler discovered the sport on the tennis courts and quickly became passionate about it. As the game grew, Debbie McCready became Club President and R&R representative in 2016 to help organize the expanding community.
In 2017, Karen, Lin, and Debbie successfully proposed repairing and resurfacing the courts to fit four pickleball courts on each tennis court. Completed for just $13,000, the upgrade allowed up to 32 players at once and greatly expanded the social and competitive side of the sport.
Since then, a growing leadership team has organized tournaments, level play, and round robins, creating a fun and active community for players of all skill levels.

Yes!
You can join online or print the membership form from the bottom of our home page. Complete it, include $20 cash in an envelope, and give it to Donna Dew or another leadership team member.
Yes, we offer two levels of round‑robin or ladder play on club dates.
Proper court shoes (tennis shoes are acceptable) are required, and we highly recommend wearing protective eyewear. Be sure to bring water; a small drinking fountain is available near the courts. Additionally, our club member Bruce Goetz, a Selkirk liaison, periodically provides demo paddles for members to test.
We typically offer a few official clinics during the season for a small fee, but most skill development happens naturally on the court through regular play, practice, and experience.
For additional training, several of our club members rated 4.0, 5.0, or higher—and who frequently compete in tournaments—provide coaching for a fee. One of them, Bruce Goetz, is a PPR‑Certified Coach who also teaches at Nike Pickleball Camps. He offers individual and small‑group lessons at a reasonable cost and can share more details if you’re interested.
Membership fees are used to purchase pickleballs and seasonal supplies, subsidize tournaments and drill sessions, and support social events and tournament prizes. A monthly financial statement is available by email upon request.

Welcome! We periodically offer lessons for new players (dates to be announced), and we often have volunteers who enjoy helping beginners get started. It’s also really helpful to watch beginner‑focused pickleball videos on YouTube. There are hundreds available, so try searching and choose the ones that best match your learning style.
